1. Who We Are

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Desi Tadka website and tiffin subscription service operated by Amrin K Enterprises Ltd. ("Desi Tadka", "we", "us", "our"), a federally incorporated Canadian corporation operating the Desi Tadka and Desi Tadka Express restaurants in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada since 2019.

By placing an order or subscribing to our tiffin service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Tiffin Subscriptions

Our tiffin subscription delivers 5 prepared meals per week (Tuesday–Sunday). Plans are weekly or monthly. Pricing is shown in CAD on the website at the time of subscription, exclusive of HST. HST is added at checkout via Stripe's automatic tax calculation.

• Weekly plans are billed every 7 days starting on the day you subscribe.
• Monthly plans are billed every 30 days starting on the day you subscribe.
• Add-ons (extra rotis, dal, paneer, chicken curry, etc.) are billed on the same recurring cycle as the base plan.

3. Delivery & Pickup

We deliver to the following Ottawa postal-code regions: K2K, K2L, K2M, K2S, K2T, K2V, K2W (Kanata + Stittsville). Delivery hours are Tue–Sun, 11:00am–12:00pm (morning delivery). Cutoff for next-day delivery is 9:00pm the previous day; orders placed after 9pm begin delivery the day after.

Pickup is available at:

• Bells Corners: 10-2006 Robertson Rd, Ottawa
• Stittsville: 1610 Stittsville Main St

If your address falls outside our delivery zone, you may still subscribe with the pickup option.

4. Pause Policy

If you cannot take a meal on a particular day, message us before 5:00pm the day prior via the pause form on our website or WhatsApp +1 (613) 315-9160. We will pause that delivery and roll the meal forward to a future date at no extra cost. Pauses do not extend or refund your billing cycle.

5. Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time before your next billing cycle through the Stripe Customer Portal (link included in your confirmation email). Once a billing cycle has begun, that cycle is non-refundable. You will continue to receive meals already paid for.

If you receive food that is unsafe, spoiled, or substantially different from what was promised, contact us within 24 hours at info@desitadkafood.ca and we will issue a credit or refund at our discretion.

6. Payment

All payments are processed by Stripe Inc.. We do not store or have access to your card information. By subscribing, you authorize Stripe to charge your payment method on the recurring cycle of your chosen plan, including all add-ons and applicable Ontario HST.

7. Allergens & Dietary

Our kitchen prepares food containing wheat, dairy, nuts, mustard, and sesame. Cross-contact is possible. If you have a serious allergy, please advise us before subscribing.

All meat is sourced from halal-certified suppliers and prepared in our halal kitchen.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for resale without prior written consent
• Submit fraudulent payment information
• Abuse the pause policy in a manner inconsistent with its stated purpose
• Attempt to disrupt or compromise the website

9. Limitation of Liability

Our maximum aggregate liability to you under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Privacy

Our handling of your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Material changes affecting active subscribers will be communicated by email.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ottawa, Ontario.
